Lavender
Most popularly grown in Provence, France (lavendula), but my Lavender is grown in the Hill Country of Texas. It could be called a Texas Herb now. Floral, light woody undertones of aroma. Many benefits of this herb would fill up several pages; most likely it is noted for its healing and mood enhancer, and no longer considered for "older folks and lace". In some instances it is also used to control pests, especially scorpions.

Peppermint
A sharp menthol fragrance from the essential oil; can be used as an astringent and analgesic, insects don't like it. Some customers use the soap on the face when having a headache. Nursing mothers and pregnant ladies should not use it.
